Z Body Boutique Now Offers Acupuncture
Tracie Dissinger, DP. OM MSOM L.Ac is a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. For the past 11 years, she has practiced in the Boulder area. She is nationally certified as an acupuncturist/herbalist and is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT sessions are available upon request and are a 50-minute one-on-one experience that addresses depression, anxiety, fear, lack of motivation, and past trauma using CBT exercises along with auricular (ear) acupuncture to deepen the healing process.

Tracie believes that Integrative Medicine is the best way to treat the body and mind. She will work with your MD if requested to help you achieve your best health and if she determines there is an issue that she is not equipped to handle, she will refer you to one of her trusted team of doctors.
Tracie has successfully treated Pain Management, Neurology issues, General Well Being, Preventative Medicine, Performance Medicine, Stroke Recovery, Psychological Mental Stress, Body Stress, Internal Medicine, and has extra training in Oncology Support (first-hand experience with cancer and chemotherapy patients). Her practice is holistic and she addresses lifestyle issues in order to get you to your best physical and mental state. She is versed in Western Medicine and can help you understand illnesses from both an Eastern and Western medical aspect. You may be treated with herbal formulas alone if you choose not to use acupuncture. Tracie uses Japanese filaments (tiny flexible needles that are so small that 15 of them fit into the needle shaft of the smallest medical needle) and tiny adhesive tacks if you are frightened of needles.

Afraid of Needles?
If you have a fear of medical needles, don't worry. You will not be overwhelmed by the filaments used at our clinic. In fact, Tracie has a medical needle phobia as well. The tacks are an effective alternative. Most patients do not feel the filaments and you can move around with them without fear of hurting yourself during the treatment. Many patients fall asleep since the acupuncture treatment is resetting your Central Nervous System. There are a large number of patients that choose to come in every 2 weeks to keep their immune systems strong against viruses and other pernicious influences.
